70? A most admirable collection. How does it feel, having that much in such a little space? Nearly a miata's worth, isn't it? I bet the monetary value pales in comparison to the emotional value tho. Glad you shared this with us, my friend.

As I mention to someone else, it's not that crowded. It's a library, made from an upstairs bedroom. There are book on two of the four walls, Peteena and a desk on the other two. There's a loveseat, chair, ottoman, and a coffee table. It only gets crowded when I'm doing photos, and there are photo lights, camera tripods, and other stuff cluttering the floor. It's a 12x12, so there's room. It's bigger than it looks. Not much visual interest taking a picture of open space.
It is a fair collection. I don't know anyone who has more Peteena. There is an emotional component to dolls. I guess it's the human like appearance. Every collector I know has some connection to what they collect. It's why I collect Peteena, and toss out the rest. Maybe it's like it never stopped being 1966 at Peteena House. Well, other that the cell phones, lap tops, Ipods and stuff.......
