Jaabir and Lichthia
Jaabir and Lichthia sharing an intimate moment together.
These two characters are referenced heavily in the stories posted in my gallery (the stories are slightly-edited roleplays by myself and Tabatha_cat).
Their general backstory; Jaabir initially hunted and captured Lichthia to be a meal. She begged him for more time, and he complied. Slowly, he developed feelings for her, and she for him. Her temporary reprieve became permanent, and they are now close friends.

She did save his life though (and vise versa), but that was after he chose to spare her entirely.
It's probably closer to a considerably more suspenseful version of 'beauty and the beast'.
Speaking of the story, I just remembered that you sent me the links... I think I'll go look at those now.
