Edgar Corvus - The First True G.E.L.F.
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
"I have always been with you."
In a sense, Edgar -- as perhaps the spiritual embodiment of Raven from myth and legend -- has always been with us, and always will be. In this view of Edgar Corvus, the first true G.E.L.F., he is shown wearing a modified native Inuit style outfit, and spirit images held within his wings. His left wing shows a Native American woman, himself as Raven, the sun, and also his friend, Coyote. His right wing shows a Celtic figure, a stylized Celtic raven, the moon, a wolf, and a skunk. If you read the story, "Family Tails", you will find the connections to these smaller images. ;) If you look closely, you will see his fingers poking out along the leading edges of his wings.
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, a 6B graphite stick, various blending and shading tools, on Georgia-Pacific's "Everyday Copy & Print" paper.
