Kokomo Automotive History Museum 07-26-2017 103 - 1917 Buick Model 34

When I was looking up the car for something interesting to say about it, I found that there are several Buicks of this vintage available for sale today. One hundred years old and still going.

That red thing is to take pressure off the wheels, I guess? (something that didn't work at the back; that tire looks flat).

What is that belt hanging from the suspension? Is that part of the car or something from the museum?

There are better photos later to show this, but the car was setup next to a service station display and was being used to illustrate how you would repair a car "back in the day". The jack stand was likely there for safety, since that appears pretty modern, but the rest were various things you might need to fix or replace when something broke in the middle of nowhere.
