Vidday Gryphon, Vetlyk
Presented here is Vetlyk or, as would be required for proper diplomatic relations: "Presenting ai'Holruk'im Vetlyk Tek'Hoklas Sakloslin of the White Tail Aerie". Vetlyk is a representative of the Vidday subspecies of Viddin which combine the features of a lion and an eagle.
Although the Vidday are the second largest Viddin, they are arguably the most powerful politically and therefore get to throw more of their weight around than other subspecies. Vidday stand approximately 183cm (6') at the shoulders and are usually more than willing to use the height and weight advantage to press the issue of getting their way. As the form of gryphon with which Humans are most familiar, the majority of Viddin artwork provided by Humans depict Vidday, which is a matter of pride for the Vidday themselves, but often a point of contention by the other sub-species.
