I get bored at work between the hours of 3am and 5am. This took a week to doodle up in MSP on one of the work computers. The mouse at work sucks. Who uses a non-optical mouse anymore?

You should pop the mouse open, remove the trackball inside it and then pick any and all lint out of the mechanism. There's a definite performance gain on those old mice if you simply clean them.
