Yes, but he's not Smaug.

Smaug died from a harpoon in that movie. In order to kill Deathwing, a plot hole had to me administered as well as breaking the laws of physics itself.

I guess that makes Smaug a pussy compared to Deathwing.

But I ignore the Dragon Soul Raid, so, basically, Deathwing has never died at all. And in reality, he was redeemed, ended up living in Theramore, had his home blown up, and is now having to deal with the Sha of Doubt in Pandaria per Rise of the Sha.
