Meyleh - Color Portrait
[b]From my "[i]Daggers of Darkness[/i]" novel, "[i]The Heart of Élendor":[/b]
Here's Meyleh, one of the Fansq students and a friend of Elí, who first appears in chapter 6 (Meyleh was the one Mindy discovered had a cracked jaw, which Frer-Sha'an healed with Elí watching). Meyleh is a fairly typical young Fansq woman, though after being rescued by the crews of [i]Nightwing[/i] and [i]Se'nika[/i] from the Pliq raiders, and seeing that there actually [i]are[/i] people in the galaxy who genuinely care, she--like Elí and the other students who were a part of the ill-fated study trip--begins to have a change in her views.
Meyleh is about the same age, height, and so forth as Elí, though her hair is straight and slightly darker, and parted down the middle...and she looks pretty darn good in that sweater. ;)
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil and 0.1 mm Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen with black India ink, colored pencils, Prismacolor blending pencil, and then I scanned the drawing at 600 dpi @ 48-bit color. I applied additional coloring, blending, shading, and effects using Pixlr online image editor and Publisher (for the text).

Um...better than before what, the blank sheet of paper that I started with? This is the very first view of Meyleh I've posted--I hadn't put up a WIP or any other view of her before this.
Maybe you're confusing her with Elí? O.o
