I haven't written much music in the past year, so even though this isn't practical for performance, writing something is better than nothing at all. It has a reflective vibe, common of some of my later works.

For music theory nuts, the piece drives on the fact that B is the pitch center, but Eb has a lot of pull as well (most notably at the end). The last chord is a striking Eb, Bb, G, D, A, E, G#, B. The first three notes and the last three are separated far enough that the overtones don't clash nearly as much as they would if thy were played together.
