This reminds me so much of the summer of 2007, my love and I used to stay up late and read to each other by candlelight during watch duty at the old brick factory we lived at. The crumbling walls of the lime kiln at the top of the complex let us have a perfect view of the little community all of our pals built together while staying out of view from the road that wrapped around the mountain to the West. Wild grapes and blackberries crawled up the East walls, leaving a sweet smell on the air when the concrete started to cool in the evening. We would howl along with the coyotes that chase the wild turkeys and rabbits down by the creek, and the whole community would start hootin and hollerin with us down below.

This here brings it all back to me. I'm getting all sentimental over here like some sort of emo guy.
