Perler PSA 2 of 2 Durability
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Here's a few questions about quality and durability that I have gotten when getting asking about badge commissions, which are important when the product is going to be worn around at a con. Here's a PSA about perler work and the work I do. Luckily I have been experimenting with different bead brands and now know there is a HUGE disparity in brands and quality of bead. Here's why...
Perler PSA 2 of 2, Durability:
Another major difference with bed brands is the durability after the melt. As you can clearly see, the better brand that I use I can bend to almost touching either side of the project without breaking or cracking at all. Whereas, the cheaper brand cracked at about a 90 degree angle and broke in half when I tried to bend it as far as the beads I use, leaving only the black beads intact (the black beads are the higher quality bead).
Please check out the first PSA "Quality".
To all my friends out there thinking about getting a commission or starting perler on their own, please be sure you are getting a quality product before spending your hard earned money on a low quality fragile beads.
