A little later than Christmas to get this one done, as was the initial intention. But because of the...circumstances of the last few weeks it sort of fell through the cracks in favor of other more pressing matters. I will say my Mom is doing better for the moment, but I'm not letting my guard down just yet. However, that's why I was so pressed to get this done now, as well as give it to her rather than wait until her proposed 'Christmas make up day.' It's a good idea, but incase her mental faculties dip again, I wanted her to have this when she could actually appreciate it.

So here it is, a portrait of Lady Aleta, along with her own little 'Misfit'. How some sort of hybrid owl creature gave birth to a little furry wolf/fox/sheep I have no idea. Misfit must take more after his Dad in terms of looks. (Which makes even less sense).

I know not everyone has the best parents. But if you've already got a good relationship with your Mom and Dad, make the most of it with the time you have. You'll never know when you might not have them anymore....or might have them in a physical form, but not all there upstairs. I love ya Mom. Thanks for everything.
