Piece for shadowjumper on InkBunny, featuring his bat character, Lucille and Ryan, my young swiftfox character

Ryan finally started to come out of his shell when he was 12, after years of self put-down from the thoughts of emasculinity his father put in his head for not liking sports at a very early age.

He started by introducing himself to Lucille, who he had a crush on from a far. He got some good advice on how to approach her by some good friends he had yet to learn he already had.

Though bashful, Ryan came off as very charming to Lucille, who took an instant liking to him. From that point, they got to know each other and developed butterflies in their stomachs which they were both too nervous to tell each other about.

Ryan took yet another brave move and told her how he felt. He never saw it coming, but they would then plan the above beach date for the coming weekend.

Walking by the waves with her, Ryan received his first kiss from a girl who wasn't his mother or sister. Not unlike most 12 year old boys, he never would have seen a peck on the cheek from his crush coming, even while holding her hand on their first date.
