I decided to make a reference guide for all the terms I think you guys might not know that I use, so here goes. BTW, I'm gonna be adding to this list when I come across a term that I haven't mentioned yet.

VirtNet: The virtual reality that everyone basically lives in now

AirPuffs/LiquiGels/NerveWires: parts of the Coffin that stimulate nerves to make your body feel what you feel in the VirtNet. You might get bruises depending on the game you're playing

Coffin: a metal box that people use to Sink into and Rise out of the VirtNet

Sinking: slang for entering the VirtNet

Rising: slang for leaving the VirtNet

Hacking: typing lines of code to do something that you aren't supposed to be able to do

EarMuff: a yellow thing that fits into your ear, and when you squeeze it, it shows a hovering blue screen in front of your face that you can access the Internet from. Basically, the ultimate portable computer.

Lifeblood Deep: the most real-life part of the VirtNet, the level that only the best of the best get to.

The Sleep: the VirtNet 

The Wake: real life

Portal: a means of getting from one place to another in the VirtNet 

Core: the thing that allows your body to realize that the Sleep isn't real, but if it's removed, your body will be unable to decode the information properly, and if you die in the Sleep you'll die in the Wake.
