"'Sup?"
With that greeting, I always knew who it was without even looking at him.
"Hey. ''Sup' doesn't cut it," I adjust the newspaper I was reading just to stare at him for a few seconds.
"C'mon, Hiroyuki! I was just kidding before," he smiled rather sheepishly. "Anyway, you're almost leaving, so I figured we should have one last time to get together, just you and me," he took a seat just beside me.
I'd never forget that guy: Kouya Aotsuki. I still remember what happened during that time. It was just like taking a piece of heaven for a moment—but moments never last.
---------
It happened around half of my stay here in Minasato, when everyone went camping. On the afternoon of our arrival, everyone wanted to take a dip in the nearby river. Naturally, with Torahiko and Tatsuki leading the fun, everybody had a blast, even Shin who was just watching us by the riverbank.
After that, I was dying for a shower. When I got out of the water, I had dirt over my shorts, in between toenails, and over my chest. Luckily for us, there was a small cottage that had a working shower near the campsite. I quickly dashed towards my tent to get my toiletries and towel, and headed straight towards the cottage. When I arrived, I stopped abruptly and rather awkwardly when I saw Kouya just sitting by the porch of the cottage.
"Is there someone inside?" I quickly ask to remove all awkwardness.
"Yeah, Kounosuke's in there. We're the last ones to get to use the shower, everyone else is done."
I give a heavy sigh in my disappointment. I thought I would be first, but I think my tent is the farthest from the cottage. I sat beside Kouya. Apparently, I feel heat coming from him, even though we just came from the river. This made me blush a little. It's crazy, I know.
"Let's take a shower together. They're starting to eat and I'd feel bad if one of us runs out food," Kouya suddenly suggested as I was thinking to myself. I didn't object and gladly accepted.
Just as I tried to arrange my bath kit. Kounosuke barged out of the door and started dashing towards the campsite. He smelled curry, I suppose. He didn't even glanced at us, and Kouya and I were left agape. I recover to my senses and gesture Kouya into the cottage.
There's part 2 already, so you could check it out.
