Fastpaw has never met a hobbit. The equivalent on his world are halflings, who are very similar but a lot less trusting. If he did ever meet a hobbit, he'd play his "cute harmless coonie" routine and Frodo (or whoever) would almost certainly learn things about a praka's stomach he didn't want to know.
