Yes. Poodles are not docked short, but they are shortened. So yes, Violet has a longer tail than Tina.

I would love to see a picture of the two poodles side by side so you could compare them, or a story about Tina getting her tail docked.

True but I meant I could see Tina as a pup/child waiting in line to have her tail docked. It would make one hell of a back story. Maybe Tina's kids are about to have theirs done and Ray's unsure about it until she tells him about her time.
Maybe the first or only time her parents trusted a human to do anything like that?
Maybe even Stan tells Ray the story?

I like digigrade legs over plantigrade, but I think you prefer plantigrade. At least that's how the hybrids in your story come across.

Maybe you should. I go with digigrade because in the story they can walk on both two or four legs depeanding on what's needed. If hands/paws are needed then two legs, if speed is needed then four.

It just helps to picture them.
