I tried a new thing… and I love how it turned out. Usually I would stop at just a colored sketch; coloring over a traditional sketch of mine. And I wouldn’t add any particular details.

But I had the thought to paint it and continue (because I’ve been delving into digital painting a tiny bit every now and then with projects) and wow…. it’s so much better, like - I can’t believe I did that, y'know?

Now to try and duplicate it with another piece xD

Retsis doesn’t have many real hobbies, but she engages in some of the royal hobbies that’s expected of someone with her status. Though she doesn’t do it often she quite likes hunting with the falcon.

This was originally just so that I could have a new outfit for her to draw her in, but once I drew the falconer glove on her I knew I wanted her to have this hobby haha. Now I should draw her WITH a falcon xD maybe lol
