Nice composition and color.

The sky was this incredible blue today, a nice contrast to the pink and white. Wish I got a sunset pic; it was turquoise and orange, fading to pink and light blue.

I wish we had sunsets like that here again. I grew up with them, but the loss of volcanic ash from Krakatoa and other volcanic eruptions has left most sunsets bland. :P

Don't see them that much here, but then we don't usually have Halloween blizzards, nor 70 degree Thansgivings. Krakatoa- are you east of Java?

Nope, but a lot of the colors in the sky at sunrise and sunset come from volcanoes. Krakatoa was actually the major contributor to the colors even in the 1960s when I rememebr the most brilliant skies.

I had no idea. My grandson is heavily into meteorology. What goes on into the heavens is a total mystery. I do remember some strange things happening after Mt St Helens.

Well . . . the pussy in my bed is always a fav. *snickers* Very pretty sky too.

Incredibly blue yesterday. Nice today, but not blue like yesterday.
Wherever you find it......sprawled on the sofa, on it's back on the living room floor, even sitting on the edge of the kitchen counter, it's still a thing of beauty.
