Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Artwork by https://www.furaffinity.net/user/dragon-noir/ thank you for your hard work in finishing up this piece.
Here is the future book cover for Helsing and The Tales of Heroes book planned in the future. While all the Tales of Heroes are all linked as one universe story series, this book is more of a direct sequel for Ayida Weddo and the Tales of Heroes.
Who is Helsing, Cirrynth, and Zitiraas? Only in Tales of Heroes can that be fully explained.
Helsing (Who is in the center) will never tell you who is parents are. Only those that serve the Coalition of Deities or speak to them will ever know. All that is known for the others is that he is a vampire or dampir to be more exact. Much like many of the mythics, vampires are welcome in the Coalition of Deities. With characters such as Lilith and other characters they are not rare either. Vampires are typically cursed people that have been transformed by magic or some other means to serve another. Of course in the end, there are so many different types of vampires that it is impossible to accurately describe them all.
Are vampires evil? The general answer is complex. Generally speaking those that get transformed to vampires do lose control and use their abilities to hunt for blood and consume human flesh to live. However, it is often revealed that in time, vampires do start to learn they can control their emotions and control their hunger drastically. A few vampires do exhibit magical abilities as well. The Coalition of Deities does seek the vampires out to make them a part of themselves in the process or in rare cases be forced to put them down. Right now, magic can not cure vampirism but magic can be used to drastically reduce hunger of blood to practically nothing, making a vampire harmless and non dangerous. It is believed that a little bit of blood from a willing partner or lover can actually even help a vampire completely eradicate any last vestiges of hunger completely. For now, every vampire that serves the Coalition of Deities has their own story to tell and challenges that they have to go through. They help the gods in finding the other rogue deities much like the other gods do or serve in whatever missions they need just like any other mythic and the other mythics help them out in return. Good, evil.....the Coalition does not care as long as you stay out of human affairs and their beliefs and allow humanity to continue on unhinged. A vampire or any other mythic that turns on the Coalition or against humanity is dealt with swiftly. Unless you have a clever plan, going full evil does not get you anywhere.
For Helsing, that is no different. He has his own story to tell and has his own challenges to handle being who he is. He helps serve the Coalition of Deities just like any other vampire or half vampire. He has become an expert at hunting down other vampires but does his best to not eradicate them unless it's necessary. Helsing uses his own specially made weapons for fighting vampires or other mythics and is usually seen alongside Lilith, another vampire that serves the Coalition as well.
But who is Cirrynth and Zitiraas? This one is much more easier to answer. Dragons exist quite well in Tales of Heroes. It seems that every culture in the world has their own version of a dragon. They flourished well and some even learned to be able to take up human form without even the need of any magical assistance or manipulation. Some dragons were even born with the ability to use magic. No two dragon is alike but not in the case for these two. Cirrynth and Zitiraas are both twins and born from none other than Drakaina Compe, another dragon from some long distant relationship from some human long ago. The famous scorpion tail of their mother was even passed on to the children. There were some differences between brother and sister though. Cirrynth the brother, has the ability to use magic and Zitiraas the sister cannot. This has never bothered them. Cirrynth has taken responsibility to use magic to help the teams while on their missions while Zitiraas prefers to be up front to take the blows from some powerful attacker.
Dragons typically stand much taller than humans. They have two or three forms they can take from human, the in between form, and the most powerful form which is their full size. Most dragons at full size show their true power and abilities being the size a bus. The In-between form they stand 8 feet in height.
Cirrynth and Zitiraas played crucial roles in persuading their mother to join the Coalition of Deities and the Dragon's Circle. Their roles in wanting to be the heroic knights like King Arthur and the Knight's Round Table was more than they ever wanted. It is even believed that the father of the twins was one of the actual knights himself. Dragons took heavy losses though from the destructive form that is Cataclysm that wiped out much of the mythics on Earth. This hasn't stopped the twins though as they continue to serve the Coalition of Deities to this day. Usually always preferring to be together in their travels and teams, the twins always look out for one another.
From the Vault and sacred armories that the Coalition of Deities uses, the dragons took their pick of what they wanted to use for a weapon or tool. Cirrynth uses the legendary Caduceus Staff or also known as the Staff of Hermes. Zitiraas uses the legendary Nordic Hrunting sword and the Svalinn Shield. As for who is in the background behind them......well......you will find out........
