I've been working on this ALL DAY.

I tried new styles and painting techniques on this - as I hope you can tell.

Anyway. This was a commission for an old High School buddy. His and his woman's anniversary is coming up soon, and he commissioned me to do this for them - he's training to be a Firefighter, and she is going to Nursing School. Hence the themes!

The border is made out of Maltice Crosses and EMT Shields, and the colors are for those respective symbols: blue for the shield, red for the cross (I think?)

Anyway. I absolutely ADORE the way this worked out. Although I'm hella tired and this took so much out of me, I'm rather proud of the outcome.

Even my husband was like, "Woa.. you're improving"!

So yeah!
