Talia Daggerclaw (D&D Character Card)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Last card in the series, just in time for our latest D&D saga to come to a close. Goodbye to the medieval realm of Ul-Dah, at least till the next installment. But for now, we move back into My Hero Pokedemia...that's not the name, but we may as well call it that. But for now, let's do the description.
Card No. 1, Talia Daggerclaw the kobold druid from the lands beyond Ul-dah. Talia is a member of a prestigious clan of kobolds who run a small society kobolds one the mainland. This society and its members have emulated the communities around them to establish themselves among the other species. However, kobold clans like this are few and far between, and so their species is still largely reviled as cave-dwelling lesser creatures. However, Talia's clan strive to bring this same civilization to their brethren across the globe in an effort to stand among the other races, and this is what Talia found herself tasked with. The young kobold was part of a party of kobold's sent to Ul-dah to help the savage kobolds there, with her acting as a medic. However, predictably her hopeful party was picked off and slaughtered by those who looked down on them, as well as thier fellow kobolds who wanted nothing for their way of life. After that, instead of returning home in shame, Talia continued to try to imbodied her people's beliefs by helping those who needed it when she could, providing medical help for those most humans and elves would deem unworthy.
During that time she would meet Adrian West, a human doctor and potion crafter who shared her ideals, and as they repeatedly cross-paths throughout the years they grew rather close. It was after their relationship took a brief turn toward intimate that Adrian disappeared. At first, Talia thought this was out of shame, the human having sullied himself by becoming romantically entangled with a kobold. But as she later found out in a letter Adrian sent that the reason he had left and never returned was because he had been infected by a spirit that turned him into a were-owl. The letter requested for her to come find him should he survive the life-threatening quest he and Siente were tasked with completing. Since re-uniting the two have kept thier new found relationship strictly professional out in the open, but behind closed doors is another story.
Talia is physically weak, and so relies on her magical prowess to get by, along with the strength of those around her. A natural healer, most of her focus is reserved to keeping her team mates alive. However, her offensive moves and the creative way she uses them can sometimes pack quite a punch.
Longest bio, heh, you can tell who I was playing. For those curious, Adrian West was my character in the previous version of this campaign. So it was an interesting opportunity to play a new character while tying her back to the cast.
