While I work away on Issue 3 for my Patrons, here's an alternate scenario in Issue 1 of my comic where the diver, Juno, is transformed by the pearl, not into a seaslug mer, but all the way into a seaslug. They don't seem to mind however, so it looks like they're going to keep him that way.
