It all started the day we discovered the chemical Sloptic X. My colleagues and I discovered it on an expedition to Antarctica. It took several months to get down there but it was all worth it. The third day we were there it was windy; up to 40 miles an hour winds. The wind didn't stop me from venturing out to find something new. The rest of my team stayed back at the base because they were too scared, but I was determined to find something at least, or I would lose my job. Chipping away at the ice I noticed something in my corner of my eye. It was very hard to see but since dragons have the second best eyesight in the world it was easy to spot for me. It was a green gelatinous form oozing out one of the chunks of ice. Curious I took some samples as carefully as I could and headed back to our pint size base. The base isn't much but it is enough for a week in Antarctica. It is sturdy but because the walls are so bulky and the base is already small there is barely enough room for the equipment. When inside I eminently tested the sample and got interesting results. Each of the samples was completely different. I was dumbfounded of my discovery. Excited, I showed my fellow colleagues the discovery. They too were as shocked as I. For the rest of the trip we spent our time researching it. But alas, our trip had to come to an end and we were supposed to tell the world our findings. The last day of our trip John, the buff kangaroo, suggested that we keep the whole thing a secret and wait till we fully test it. Everyone decided that we would go along with it.
The day came when I had to report to our boss. He is a tough looking wolf that always has a snarl on his face due to his continues disappointment. Standing outside his office my sweat was pouring out as I tried to bring up enough courage to tell the boss the fake bad news. Giving a sigh, I pounded on the door. “Come in!” was heard coming from the other side. Walking in I see the older wolf lounging with his feet on his desk and a cigar in his snarl.
Letting out a puff of smoke he growled, “Well, what is it?”
“During our expedition we found nothing, sir.”
The wolf gave a sigh, “So during a year expedition you found nothing, is that it? Well you better be glad that you are one of my favorites or else you would be fired.” He let out another puff of smoke and stood up. “Now if you don’t mind, I have an appointment to get to. I will hope you do well in the lab or else it won’t matter that you are one of my favorites.”
After my boss left the room the only thing I could do was sigh with relief. My colleagues were happy to hear that he didn't fire any of them. We got back to work like we had never left for that expedition. During days off we would test the new substance that we found. After several deliberations I was the one who got to name the new chemical Sloptic X.

It has been several years sense our expedition and now I am the boss. The old wolf resigned 2 months back because he was rich enough to live wealthy until he dies. Since then we brought the research of Sloptic X to the lab. In 2 months we have discovered more than the 4 years and 10 months of research at our homes. The time now comes to the day where we have to test it on fellow anthros. So I called a meeting with my top 5 employees. I had John Fedrison and Marcus Lutrin come because they were the only employees that are left from our expedition 5 years back. John is a burly kangaroo with chocolate brown eyes and a stern face. He is the most muscular anthro in the building with muscles bulging out of his arms and legs. Not to mention his 10 pack. He also is the one who does all of the physical labor around the lab. Marcus on the other hand is a shy social outcast deer. He keeps to himself and is on his computer 24/7, and due to this he is the smartest one in the lab. Normally anthros would think of someone like Marcus to be overweight, because of his many hours on the computer, but in fact he is quite skinny due to his high metabolism. The other trusted three are Trevor Wenteny, Luke Bardainya, and Jimmy Smith. Trevor would be the friendly, charismatic anthro of the group. He is a big panda who would do anything to make someone laugh. Normally pandas have a slow metabolism and that is what made pandas have the layer of fat, but because Trevor’s hobby was eating, he had more than just one layer of fat. His face is rounded and his belly poured over his large pants, which gives him a friendly cuddly feel to him. Luke is the anthro that never freaks and stays calm. He is a slim fox that girls fall over. He spends most of his time in the lab testing and never seems to forget to do anything (Unlike Jimmy). As for Jimmy he is an average tiger who messes up on most of his work. No one blames him because he is the noob, so to say it. No matter what, he always stays hyper and charismatic.
I was sitting in the board room 5 minutes till the meeting is supposed to start, when Marcus walks in with his laptop grasped in his paws. All he does is look up to acknowledge me and he plops himself in the closest seat to the door. After he got himself situated you could hear laughter coming from the hallway to the room. I instantly knew that Trevor was coming. As sure enough I was right as Trevor and Jimmy came in. They plopped themselves down next to each other and the continued to chat. John walked in right when the clock struck 6 o’clock and 7 minutes later Luke wonders in.
“Looks like everyone is here, so let’s get started. As you know we discovered the chemical Sloptic X 5 years ago and we have been trying to figure out what it does. The one thing we haven’t done is test the chemical on living beings. The main reason we haven’t is that we don’t want to test it on anthros in this dimension.”
As I said that John gave me a puzzled look. “What do you mean by this dimension?”
“I am glad you asked. A week ago 2 of my employees discovered something truly amazing. They discovered three new dimensions.”
“WHAT!?!?!?!” Trevor yelled. “You can’t be serious? There are other dimensions than ours? And why were we the first people to discover this?! This could change the world, but it can be catastrophic. The world could end!”
“Cool your jets big guy. This is good news and now we have a way to test the chemical.”
“How so?” Trevor asked.
“First let me explain the new dimensions. I call the first one the Parallel world. This dimension is a world like ours, with anthros and everything. They will be perfect to test on because they are just like us. By the way do you guys all know about the popular games/ television series of Pokémon and Digimon.”
“Yes, but what does that have anything?” said Jimmy as he joined the conversation.
“Well the other two dimensions have Pokémon and Digimon. I don’t know if they are related to the games/television series though. The dimension that has the Pokémon I called the Pocket World and the other one is called the Digital World. For these dimensions the Pokémon and Digimon act like anthros. They talk like us, eat like us, and live like us; making them great test subjects to Sloptic X.”
Trying to make himself understand, the panda said “So let me get this straight. You want us to test this chemical on the Pokémon, Digimon and the anthros form another dimension.”
“Precisely. Now let’s get to what you will be doing. As you may know that there are 6 forms of Sloptic X. Do any of you know what all of them are?”
As cool as he could the fox could be Luke listed: Air born, powder, gel, pure, water, and food.
“Since there are six forms I needed 5 other anthros to help. We will each get a form to test. You can do whatever you want to the test subject only if you test the chemical on them. Here are your folders that will tell you what form you will be getting.” I pulled out 6 folders and passed them around giving each of them a type. “This meeting is officially adjourned.”
After all of them left I was ecstatic to see what I got. I opened the slightly damaged folder to see 4 big printed letters at the top: PURE.
