Memories
Not all of Shema's students come from well-off backgrounds. Some arrive hungry, others tired, a few, sad. Shema always has a basket of snacks for hungry students and always time to talk with them, if they wish. Her cheerfulness, honesty, and kindness is usually rewarded with her students' dedication, success, and friendship.
In time, their memories of her will fade and disappear, but in a school yearbook forgotten in a box in the corner of a closet or dusty basement, her photo awaits their rediscovery, however long it takes.

We used to have this Saying (Miss Kettchner- Will Kettcha!)
She Did too, I wasnt the first to get (Kettch'ed) (by her)
....the incident, I was done with my work so I had like 30 mins free time...as I was drawing a picture in her Class as an Anthropomorphic Female Cheetah, anatomically correct, neked, OMG Was I Mortified, as she walked over and saw the very Mature picture of her, I had drawn... she said the following..(Kaage dear, may I see please what it is you are drawing?!!) I was leik OMFG =O_o=
Yeah I got a 45 min Detention for it, in her Class room......For (Inappropriate Use Of Time During A Class Session).....
She kept the Picture, but told me she understood and knew I was (Coming Out) my Lesbian side was blossoming, she'd seen me get flustered over other girls that also were attracted to me, I was just 12 Years old...She said just between us both, She loved the picture, she wasn't mad, found it complimentary to her..She too was Lesbian she told me, I had no idea, but kept it our little secret, I did Art of her, for her, on off would secretly show it and give it to her on (After school Hours).
In a way, teachers usually end up spending more time with a child than the child's own parents do, at least during the week. It's a difficult job that requires a lot from a person and is woefully underpaid and underappreciated.
