"[i]Giyg...?[/i]"
It was late...
The two aliens were laying on the soft velvety bed, the smaller one pressed slightly up against his other, bigger, warmer half.
The bigger one, Gyuu, had woken up from his slumber. He had expected his other half to still be asleep, but..
"[I]Yes...?[/i]"
Gyuu smiled slightly.
"[I]You never can rest easily, can you.[/i]" He says, smiling down at Giygas, who was laying close against him,
one arm under him with the hand on his shoulder, the other hand resting on his chest.
"[I]Never...[/I]" Giygas simply said.
"[I]There is more you wanted to say, though.[/I]"
Of course, he could tell, Gyuu hadn't woken up from his sleep to tell Giygas this.
Gyuu blinked softly in the darkness for a moment, choosing his words.
"[I]What is it that you wish for?[/i]
[I]Most in the world..?[/I]"
Giygas seemed a little surprised at this question, but asnwered anyway;
"[I]You know what I wish for. Most in the world..[/I]"
He lifted a hand, and Gyuu took it in his.
"[I]Yea... I know what it is... but still... it is kind to act not to know sometimes, yes?[/I]"
"[I]Perhaps...[/I]" Giygas replied, opening his eyes to look up at Gyuu, their eyes being but the only source of light in the room, in exception for the soft light that a nearby window provided, showing endless space outside.
". . ."
After a moment, Giygas closed his eyes again, his hand sliding away from Gyuu's, to return back onto Gyuu's chest.
Gyuu simply lowered his hand as well, and he rested his head against Giygas'.
"[I]What we wish for, can never be wrapped up in any present.. or be given to us by anyone..[/I]
[I]Yet...[/I]" He mumbled, feeling sleepiness overpower him again.
"[I]What we have... is good enough...[/I]
[i]Each other...[/I]"
Giygas didn't answer.
Gyuu didn't mind.
He was falling asleep anyway.
As he did, he could feel Giygas' hand stroke over his head, causing a light purr to escape him, yet it died away rather quickly as the two of them fell back into slumber.
