If people can't stand this or find this ugly - fine, that's your opinion. But veins and stuff will never lead to breaking any "mature filter rules", hehehe.
And frankly: IT CAN GET much more detailed, ya know? Some artworks (and real photos) show much more and detailed veins.
I personally don't like this so much either BUT this is how the character looks and my friend likes it.
And it's a gift after all.
That's all that counts!
