Zoophobia Chapter 30
And now the time has come for another character to come into this. Next month things will really take off.

Chapter 30: The Queen
As it turned out that person would be the queen werewolf herself. Jayjay had been sending regular reports to the other female. Now that Nicholas and his girl were a couple and actually living together, the female werewolf had decided it was time to pay a visit and see Howl Lounge for herself. That meant a serious cleaning up around the place. Not that the staff and Nicholas did so to have it sparkle, but the efforts needed to be doubled. By this point the rest of the staff had learned about Nicholas and his friends being werewolves including their girls. They were cool with it since they had known about Jayjay being one and thought she was a fun, cool person.
Nicholas called a staff meeting for the none werewolf people to discuss this person coming was another werewolf and to treat her well. Drake the sloth, Lance the river otter, and Alexis the vixen still worked for Nicholas and would be working on the day of that the queen would come. By this point the river otter and vixen had taken their relationship to the next level as had Zill and Kayla. Not that it mattered but it explained why these four were closer than ever. Once his other staff had been talked to about this, a meeting with the werewolves and their girls happened. This was a bit hard at first because Granite and Alito were messing around on some of the bar stools, pretending to fall off of them and not really paying attention.
“WILL YOU BOTH KNOCK IT OFF?!” Nicholas roared at them. “That’s exactly the kind of shit that will make the queen werewolf think we’re not civilized!”
Alito really did fall off his bar stool at these words. “The queen werewolf is coming here?!” he asked, his voice somewhat muffled due to it being half buried in the floor.
“That’s right, so straighten up here! Now listen closely. She’s coming soon.”
Some days later the lounge was ready for the queen werewolf. This time Nicholas and Jayjay were at the front entrance to greet her, holding paws. The male let out a breath. “Nervous?” the female asked.
“Yes,” he replied. His girl gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Hey, it’ll go fine. You’ll see.”
Then ten minutes later they saw her approaching. They saw her fur and hair was a golden tan with some highlights in the legs, arms and tail. She had feathers in her hair like Jayjay but there were a lot more. They matched her red eyes and the dress matched the fur which was strapless and short. The queen came to the door and it opened to reveal she was a good head taller than Nicholas and Jayjay. “Welcome ma’am,” he said respectfully. “Let me just say first it is an honor and real privilege to have you here your majesty.”
She smiled at the two warmly. Despite her fierce appearance, the queen was a gentle soul during times such as these. It was during battle that this female was a force to be reckoned with. “Thank you, Nicholas,” she said, her voice carrying wisdom and kindness in them with a hint of someone who knew how to have fun. “And I’m glad you’re here to Jayjay. First let me say that I’m very happy you two have each other as do the rest of her clan mates with such wonderful werewolves. Second, may I come in?”
The other two stepped to the side with smiles and she took a look around. “I must say Nicholas this is impressive. I like what you’ve done here not just for werewolves but the others of this city. I can see why it’s a popular place.”
“That was my intent your majesty,” he replied. “I made it so people could have fun and as a way us werewolves could to.”
“Well then, why don’t you two show me around?’
Jayjay and her guy were more than happy to. The queen was pleased and happy about this place with trying out some of the things. Other guests came in and knew of her coming while having been told about the queen, not of her identity, but told to treat her with respect. They did that and the big female werewolf ended up having a wonderful time. Jayjay and Nicholas were there to see her when she left. “I’m really glad I came,” she said.
“We’re just happy you had fun,” the other female replied. With a nod, the queen disappeared into the night. The other two knew she would be back. But what they didn’t know was for a completely different reason.
