The armor is Kick ass! Though I have to wonder why the tail is left unarmored, and the ears made to flatten in the helm.

both very good questions. The ears aren't flattened, their just laid back to give the helmet a smaller profile. The original prototype had armor covering the tail, but the diver found it was too constricting and made movement and balancing difficult, so the tail armor was removed in the final model.

Ah! well one cannot complain about the where's preference. However, personally Id not like to loose any of my tails, and have a shieth for it on my back. Though the layed back ears make alot of scene.. perhaps I should update my armor...

As for the ax, you'd have to take it from it's current owner and he's rather unwilling to give it up.

You're quite welcome! Hellgate was a PC game that came out a while back, along with a short novel series. Think Diablo in a modern day, swarming with demons post apocalyptic London X3

And I don't think I'd be up for that one...I don't fancy getting sliced in half or shot.

This drips with epicness. I just hope the rifle doesn't have too much kickback. Lol Even if it doesn't, you'd have to hold it right to keep from axing or slicing yourself.

I believe the full suit of power armor may help with that. Plus, the targeting system is integrated into the helmet's HUD so you don't have to get your face too close to the blade.

If I may ask, Why is the rifle stock raised up so far? I mean to say, that most pistol-grip equipped rifles have stocks in-line with the bolt. And, I would also have to assume that the Battle axe is a modification to a pre-existing rifle, of which there is more than one copy. Unless the stock itself is aftermarket to accomodate the Axe.

The stock is raised to give it added bulk in order to handle the force of the ax. The rifle was created to accommodate the battle ax which was stolen from an ancient arms collection.

That totally looks like a modified Kroot rifle.
Other than that, original, and functional. Very nice.
