Beautifully done, the background even blends nice and smoothly. A lot of these pictures it feels like the character isn't touching the ground, but you managed to avoid that here. That is one very cool looking fellow there. :)

I love seeing people do atypical centaurs. it's so rare to see them as anything but tribal warrior types, or rangers. The choice of a Spaniard guard is an interesting one.

I am guessing you styled him after conquistadors, though the selection of a Falcata is quite unique, as you seldom see them anymore.

I definitely hope to see more in this vein from you. :)
