Bonding over games:
...Shadow and Eve both try to coax Berri out and assure her, but she is adamant and wishes to be alone for a while. The biggest question is who she is going to pick.
Eve tells Shadow that he's much better for her, and she heads for the door. Shadow tries to convince her to stay, but she refuses. He asks her if she needs transportation. She then says that she really has no place to go. At this point, Shadow refuses to let her leave. She eventually agrees, reluctantly. He invites her to have some food, but then remembers that all of the food is made directly by Berri, and with Berri being a bit unavailable at the moment, all he can do is say "nevermind."
They both take a seat in the living room, and sit silently for a few minutes. Finally, he breaks the silence and asks if she wants to play video games or something. She tells him that she's never played any, which shocks him. He says he'll teach her, and he hands her a controller.
"Winner gets Berri!... I'm joking."
After a few games, she starts getting into it and enjoying it. Shadow makes jokes every now and then, and she laughs. They forget for a while about the awkward situation they're in. They start talking a bit about various things. If one didn't know any better, they'd think it were a date.
Eventually, Shadow says that he notices something off about her, which throws her a bit off. He tells her about his "sixth sense" that acts similarly to sonar, and that the structure of her cells feels noticeably different. She acts deflective, which makes him more curious. This all leads her to THIS MONOLOGUE.

Apparently, even Berri doesn't know, All Berri knows is that she is homeless and travels around a lot, and that she talks using any place she can find public computers. Also, she tells him that in all the years she's been around, she's never sought out a relationship with anyone, and explains that she backed out of the date because she was immediately nervous about Berri finding out. She thought it was better (and safer for her) that they talk over the website. However, after a few months of talking, she finally trusted Berri enough to visit her in person. However, this whole situation with Shadow really didn't help. They were both reminded of the awkward situation again. They both share how hurt they were initially to find out, but after talking amongst themselves, they convinced eachother that she was trying not to hurt either of them.
They each discuss who they think she'll decide to stay with. Each of them are confident it will be the other. They go back and forth, telling eachother how perfect they are (for her). Eve tells Shadow that he's handsome and cute and funny and supportive and HOT. Shadow tells Eve that she's absolutely gorgeous and sweet and cute and brave and HOT....
Then the situation gets awkward in a whole new sort of way...
