I especially like those stripes, on its backside.
reminds me on flames, and giving the dragon some sort of personality. c:
Also the proporsions fit really well i think. Maybe his hands are a bit too small.. but.. *shrugs* ^^
The one thing, i don't like that much are the top of its wings. Where the "spines" for the wing membrane are comming out of. It's too flat in my opinion, if you think about, that wings are some kind of "extra limbs". So anatomically it'd look like a giant, deformed hand. :p
but there are many ways to draw wings.
And i don't have to like everything you do.. ^-^
I'm looking forward to see, what it'll look like, when it's finished :D
I do agree that the hands may be a bit too small, and I definitely agree about the wings. I need more practice in that aspect of things.
But sadly it might be a while before I finish this one. What, with work and all the other things I have to do. But it'll be uploaded as soon as its done.
anyway. I think you did well on this one after all. just keep it up. ^^
