valhalla rising
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I'm still very proud of this one and it's very dear to my heart.
I have tons of ideas to make a series out of this.
The deer is either named Hel or Val as working title xD
I sold a jumbo print of this picture at EF16 and I'm thankful and happy
someone gave her a new and nice home ^^
Expect more deers and more "valhalla" stuff

Very nice light work on that one. I have a few small nitpicks but I don't wanna spoil your glow.
Thanks, I know the lightning isn't very realistic and stuff, already talked with many artists about that and I think I got it now and try my best with every new painting ^.^
For a comic, unrealistic is part of the attraction, right? If it was realistic I wouldn't look at it.
No, my nitpick is that where she's looking she has no devout. If she's looking at the light then her head is turned away. In other words, between the right mountain and her, there's a composition gap, and she's addressing that space. So you're just missing some hints of landscape there.
Note: on the left you have some subtle smoke-like disturbances of the light between the arm and the veil. Cultivate that! However you made that effect, voluntary or not, you can use it to make smoked environments with light rays that will pop in dimensions. It's very effective.
