I think they were asking if he's been fixed or not. I imagine that would be a very personal question.

i don't understand it either.

In other words, 'Have you still got your 'crown jewels' or did you have a visit to the vets for a 'snip snip'.'
Judging by his reaction... the later is my guess.

"Fixed!? What do you mean 'fixed'? I'm not broken!"

Funnily enough, one could argue he's broken if he has been fixed, but was not before.

As the Cajuns would say, "That be true, yes."

Looks like Theo was also thrown by that question at first.

"The nerve of some peoples children!"

I'm guessing that in the first panel, Theo was trying to figure out what the question was. In the second panel, he figured it out.

How dare yu humons ask such a personal question :p

I figured Theo was a pedigree show cat so wouldn't be... altered... in that way.

But we shall never know!
