She's wearing a German-style noblewoman's cotehardie type dress from the fourteenth century (though in reality a noblewoman wouldn't be brushing her own hair..).
(Also, wow, after I uploaded it I see all kinds of shitty noise in the scan that I didn't see while it was in Photoshop. x_x )

People come up to me all the time and touch it, play with it, sniff it.
It's just weird when they don't ASK first.. and one guy bit me on the shoulder.
I like having my hair played with. It makes me super relaxed and full of tingly feel-good endorphins.
With how long I have been trying, anyone would be questioning the statement "You will find someone eventually" by now.
Ah yes, a trick I use to get it all out...
- Unless you've already done so, turn it into a 256-grayscale B&W image.
- Ramp up the contrast... not enough to destroy fine lines, but that will make invisible rubbish appear.
- Remove the rubbish.
- If you want to return to softer lines of pre-contrast enhancement, use a 1px by 1px gaussian blur.
