I lose my mind every now and then. 

I realize just how broken I am. 

Denied, demoted, disgraced, discarded. 

By friends, family, and piers, amongst others. 

The joke is funny but I think it's stupid.

I was a happy little boy, at first. 

But then,  depression hit me like a bullet. 

I'm still wounded on the inside. 

Wondering if I can last. 

It hurts me. To do anything. 

It hurts to live.
