Some early screenshots from a game I've been working on over the last couple of weeks :) As you can see, everything is still in a pretty early stage, especially the UI. But I feel I am finally at a point where screenshots - at least with a bit of imagination - can convey the overall idea and art style I am going for.
I want a turn-based, strategic type of game with a heavy boardgame-like feeling, like event cards skill rolls. I am a board game enthusiast, and totally love games like Arkham Horror, Mansions of Madness or Betrayal in the house on the hill. Of course, there will be lots of lewdness involved! This time around the player will have full control of the camera at all times. Yes, you can already make the camera follow your characters around to stare at their butts :3
I have learned so much about game making and programming since a walk home! I can barely wait to put all of it to the test in this game. A lot of the underlying mechanics are already done and working like a charm! I, of course, want to make a way smoother and bug-free experience than a walk home, and I really do feel like I am succeeding in that regard so far :)
With the money, i already got from my supporters at Patreon and Ko-Fi I was already able to buy substance painter, and really, I couldn't be happier. This makes such a difference I am amazed, and it improved both my workflow and visuals a lot! For both the characters and almost all of the probs in the background (with exception for obvious placeholder items like the trees and rocks etc) I build a high and low poly mesh in blender, and baked and textured it in substance painter. It works soooooo good and fasts amazingly well, and that I owe that to you guys! Thank you so so much!!! <3
