More practice with backgrounds and lighting. Honestly the part of this that took the longest were the leaves in the foreground, because as I was painting them, I started to figure out better ways to do it, so I basically had to re-do the first half I did because it was so much less polished than the second half after I figured stuff out!! Also, this started out as just a doodle because I wanted to practice drawing abs... and somehow it turned into this!!

When I'm making art with with backgrounds like this, it helps me to imagine it as a scene and characters as being from a book or movie, so I was imagining here two friends out exploring when they shouldn't be! Ketak, the Jaguar, is much more adventurous, and often gets her friend Paolo, the Panther, into trouble!
