Fursona-ception
Erm...right, so I really didn't expect to ever be typing on here again; sorry for the massive abscence, for starters. Lemme' explain; see, my family's Wi-Fi has an in-built, adult-website blocker thing. Nothing unsual there, except that whilst Furaffinity and InkBunny are totally untouched by it, SoFurry, bizarrely, is normally blocked by it under the "Porn" category (the irony of that sentence makes me roll my eyes). I was able to access the site when I went back through my g-mail inbox, and found an email from SoFurry themselves; through the link, I ended up at my profile, so yay!
Hopefully I can access the site more often, as I' ve just come out of a near-month-long art-block (it coincided with some periods of self-doubt and stress as a whole for me), and this is the first fruit of my new schedule, designed to get me drawing again. I'm drawing a small thing a day, with about an hour set aside per week to whatever larger drawing I'm working on at the time, and these small drawings are being into a folder on my laptop called "Daily Drawing Practices". Yesterday's attempt was a football (sorry, "Soccer Ball" xD!) in a field, with the aim being to improve my basic shading - particularly on circular objects-, but since it wasn't furry-related in any way, I haven't bothered to upload it here.
Today, however, was different; this is the result of my inspiration by a Canadian fur whom my personal account follows on twitter; he uploaded a photo of his fursona's head and arms drawn over a real-life selfie he took, so it appeared as if his fursona had taken the photo. I really liked the idea, and so decided to give it a go myself. I think, for this, you kinda' need to ignore the fact that Connor is 12 years old; the body proportions are, obviously, of me rather than him, and I couldn't find a way around that. And yes, I did take this selfie whilst up to my ankles in mud, in a forest. Why? My username should give you a clue :)
I have a few anatomy practices in mind, and one, in particular, I think will be well-worth uploading here :) This little-a-day approach should hopefully produce results; I guess only time will tell.
