Me'Zelf Scale Regions 2021 (Detailed)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
When study techniques get combined with art... Those Biology classes...
This is a highly detailed reference of my character's scale regions, types, and function. Meant for personal use. Of course I give myself leeway when creating casual drawings. Most casual artwork online don't use such detail, this is to set a ceiling for my potential.
Most of the scale regions have leeway in numbers, but some have fixed numbers. They function like a ruler for me to measure proportions when drawing my character. All of the plated scales are colored glossy black. The glossy textures give me a challenge with my pencil techniques, and potentially play with colored environmental lighting in the future.
Fixed Scale Regions:
- Facial scales (central ridge, horn stubs, and brows) https://www.sofurry.com/view/1772474
- Back scales (connect to the webbed spines)
- Chest plate
- Belly scales

Well done and keep up the great work ^.=.^
But yea, the diagram drawing method is commonly used to describe features of an organism.
