She had gone looking for a friend. The garden grounds of the mage's university left little room for someone to hide, much less go missing entirely. All there was to speak of where they might be were a couple scraps of cloth, trailing their way toward the old cistern-turned-garden-pond that no one really bothered with.
Surely, it couldn't be anything serious! Probably a prank... or her friend had messed up some arcane experiment. Either way, not something to get the instructors involved. Armed with her protection amulet, her feet made their way down the steps... and into a mistake.
