There is a cartoon you will sometimes see in shops, that shows either a skeleton in a dress, or a skeleton in jeans, covered in dust and cobwebs. And the caption reads 'Still waiting for the perfect man' or 'Still waiting for the perfect woman' depending on the clothes.

The implication is supposed to be that they have waited too long and are now just a skeleton :3
