This beautiful snake was practically posing for everyone. Unfortunately, reflections made it impossible to get good wider angle shots of him.

those fellas could get real nasty when you go hiking which was why I carried a taser as a non lethal deterrent for venomous snakes although I would have loved to have a tranquilizer gun on hand instead and used a modified shooters mono-pod with a "Y" shape to hold a snake down while a ranger would come by with the snake grabber and a burlap bag an trash can so he could safely transport the reptile. I have dealt with more baby Rattlers than I want to (around one to three per year) those guys are annoying.
This Copperhead is just looking at all of the humans in the human enclosure.
