Sour Dreams, Sweet Reality

(Piplup POV)

"Wake up Piplup...wake up...." the tone was soft and simple...like an angle and far more beautiful than that. I slowly opened my heavy eye and found myself staring at a set of light, sea blue eyes, followed by the smile of the owner. I turned my head sideways, finding the figures beside me were missing. "I must have dozed off again like the usual," I thought.

"Good morning Piplup. I hope you had a great dream last night." So, it was the guy who helped me yesterday, from my owner, Jason. But more importantly, I couldn't help myself staring at those beautiful eyes. The guy chuckled, making me red enough.

"Ok, enough fun, let's head outside and eat! See you there!" The guy waved and headed at the entrance of the tent. I sat and wondered at the guy appearance dreamily, like there was no tomorrow. Snapping out of my mind, I wobbly stood and headed out of the tent, finding the guy with another pokemon, a Buizel, sitting beside him talking merrily. That triggered me with a greater sense of jealousy and hatred on that Buizel, as if their a couple showing to the whole world their love.

The guy must had heard me already, and lauched with a cheery greeting,  "Just in time! Come here and take a sit. There's a few things I wanna talk to you about yesterday"

(Jones POV)

I gested the penguin pokemon to sit next to Buizel and me. I rustled to my backpack for a spare bowl and some pokechow (I got that name from @LucarioLover95) before passing him the bowl filled up with pokechow.

And as expected, the penguin pokemon declined the offer, I had to painstakely tried consulting, "Look here, I know your kind have a huge sense to take a lot of pride in yourselves. But look at you now, recovering from the yesterday's incident, so please eat up and once your recovered, then I can release you back into the wild, better than returning to Jasper which is impossible as it was the deal."

It was all a sudden as the penguin pokemon started bursting out in tears, I guessed that he didn't want to head back to the wilderness as I probably don't know how long he was with Jasper before I did. I started carecessing the penguin' cheeks, then I went on to bring him to a tight, bear hug for better comfort.

"I...don't...want to...be alone again..." that was I could hear as Piplup tried to mustered up the strength to say further. "Please don't cry, I will let you stay with me," I said calmly, embracing the hug tighter. While I was hugging the tearing Piplup. Then it came, the body of Piplup became white, turning into a sphere of white glowish look. The figure became bigger, then the white glow reach to the extreme. I shut my eyes tightly in advance. After a few minutes, the light dimmed down, as I opened my eyes, I'm now carrying a penguin with two horn-like ovals, connected to the beak of the mouth.

"Woah." I said in awe. As I was about to be takin out my pokedex until I heard a low, deep tone near me. "Don't need that I can tell you myself. I'm Prinplup, a penguin pokemon. And that's that." Prinplup said.

"No worries come here!" I said, giving a another hug to the newly evIoved pokemon. "Are you guys done I'm getting impatient here," a voice said menacingly. I had a sense of anger from somewhere. I took a glance at Buizel and he was indeed furious about this, giving the unnoticed Piplup a deadly, murderous stare. Not wanting to make Buizel angry, I broke away the hug from Piplup, and as well as to make a mental reminder to ask Buizel about this unexpected behaviour, if we were alone.

As Piplup was wolfing down the food, I was looking up at the map I had. "Oreburgh city huh, I think it should be one of the cities with a rock gym leader, I guess I better have to sharpen up with them." I was probably spaced out for quite sometime, and I could there all day long if not for the nudge I had from Buizel, indicating me that Piplup had finished his meal.

(Narrator's POV)

The trio helped out packing before they continue their adventurous jouney to be the pokemon champion. Neither of them were talking, what the noise were only bug pokemon chirping within the grass and trees, river sliding through merrily, and noises of wind rustling through.

Jones was walking, thinking of the earlier events happen. "I ain't sure why, but I'm starting to feel abit more worrying than confusion about Buizel..." Jones thought "Heck yeah I couldn't think of more than jealousy, but why me now." Jones sighed in mind, but unaware that he said the last part aloud, receiving odd looks from his Pokemons.

While walking through the dense forest, the trio began to have some matches with random encountered trainers, successfully won against them. After that was like a huge routine, eat, sleep and battle. As if there isn't anytime to rest at all, though like their in some battle war field.

It took a while but finally the whole thing stop. Jones dropped down on his butt, groaning in pain and tiredness, "What the hell was that, where do these trainers even come from." he whinned out, not caring that he received odd looks form them.

"Yeah I do kinda agree that we all are worn out earlier on...it's best that we tucked in for the night now." Buizel suggested. But as soon as Buizel finished, there were three, loud growling sounds coming directly at their stomachs. "So...who's hungry?" Jones joked. "Me!" Buizel and Prinplup said out in unison.

Jones began to take out some food supplies form his bag while Buizel went to gather branches and twigs for the fire. And lastly Prinplup went to get a bucket of water form a nearby stream. When food was being served, the trio wolfed down hungrily, though one could see that their stomachs began to increase a bit, signaling that they were full. Finally a tent was quickly set up for the night, dozing off to a deep slumber...
