I start the artistic side of the new year that is a bit inspired by something, a friend linked to me last year.
The said friend found out that my species Daspletosaurus exists in a kid's show called "Dinosaur Train", so I got introduced to Mr. Daspletosaurus (he's called that in the show.)

"So, do you fancy Mr. Daspletosaurus? He's a handsome hunk! How can you resist those colors?"

smiles nervously and says slowly "I can't contain my... excitement... uh."

Well, if I was one of these Daspletosaurus in the show, I would be entirely featherless and clad in varying shades of pink, interspersed with patches of cyan. And then Mr. Daspletosaurus gifts me a similarly pink feather boa, feather sleeve, hoping that will put me at ease. But I'm rather shy around him and overwhelmed by the high amount of pink around me.



Okay, I did not only draw that to venture into... hmmm... vibrant color schemes, but I wanted to try out something more stylized, a bit like in the vain of an Arvalis drawing. But yeah, I don't have the proper knowledge to make a drawing look like as if it was a scene from an animated movie. However, I had a good laugh at the color scheme from Dinosaur Train, which would make me want to run off, even from my own reflection if I saw myself with these colors. :-P
