Beastly
A design for la friend over on DA.
I like this guy so much I made up a few facts about his species:
- they are called Evikhar.
- this is their hungry form.
- they feed on auras and positivity.
- If they are well fed they will appear as a chubby baby with nubs for horns and only two eyes (in the usual spot for eyeballs xp)
- as they grow hungrier they grow larger and slimmer, their horns grow and they obtain more eyes.
- their gaze will draw you to them irresistibly. You will want to have them as your own, and the longer you fall for this trick, the more miserable and unlucky you will become.
- owners of these creatures do not realise they are being fed upon.
- their forked tongues contain a paralysing agent, which helps them to keep their prey still at night when they feed.
- they can stand on their rear legs and open doors with their hands. Their front hand-paws are very dextrous, though their arm range of movement is a little limited due to their canine-like structure.
- primarily they come in darker colours.
- they are always blind, and find their way around by echolocation beyond the human range of hearing.
- eventually, their owners usually pass away due to extreme melancholy, though this is never their intent and they will mourn them for years when they pass, sometimes growing as tall as a two storey house as they do.
- they like to keep to the wilderness, and will not be kept in a home, though they will visit the homes of their owners to cement their bond and to feed.
- they're kind of a representation of the black dog I suppose? idk, that wasn't deliberate! XD
I am SO tempted to make a CS out of these D:
