Drawn in 1998. In 1997, I attended my very first convention ever, Duckon 6! Duckon was a mix of a bunch of different fandoms! Fantasy, Star Trek and Furry elements all mixed into one! I remember feeling utterly blown away by how MAGICAL everything felt! I also remember feeling utterly lost and alone, because I knew no one there! I knew, though, that it was all terribly exciting and I couldn't wait to go to another convention!

Fast forward another year, and I met a WHOLE BUNCH of nifty folks from the Milwaukee and Chicago areas! I drew this for a party at Duckon 7 in Chicago, IL. We had a party for the Lake Area Furry Friends (LAFF) at the convention. I remember the very first party being an absolute blast. I remember being so happy to be hanging out with so many new friends!

I have absolutely no idea if LAFF is still a thing. Even if it was, I'm not sure I'd have the patience for it these days.
