She just needs to get used to them, I'm sure. Although being an herbivore species facing all those teeth might be a little unnerving for her. Time for concealed carry! Just make sure she always has a handy dandy Blast-O-Ray 5000™ on her and she's good to go.

I mean, a needler/fletchette gun might be easier to conceal, but those have such poor armor penetration that I wouldn't recommend it against species with extra thick skin. Even a slugthrower would be preferable.
