I can't say I know the full context to this image, like why she's topless, but yeah.
So, I've been spending a lot of time lately coming up with pics to draw of my characters and sure enough I made another one for Lucine.
I never was able to get this part of her character out there but despite her cocky personality, she's got a bit of an issue with her breast size (along with some other things). Best way to describe it is by going into her past a bit.
when she was very young, she was around the size of all the other kids and thus it wasn't too hard for her to show her dominance and physically bully her way. though, as time went on, she started to mature and so did all those around her. It turned out she wasn't the large type in stature at about 5' 3", especially compared to all those around her. she quickly lost her dominance as she was no longer able to overpower others like she used to.
along with her lack of growing she also developed quite a large rack which She felt got in the way more then anything else. At this point in her life, all it does is remind her of the change that ruined her. She's still pretty bitter about it. Not to mention one of the first times she found out about her new lack of power involved being overpowered by a boy in the school hallway way back when. Having others, especially large, dominate, males remark on her physical traits is the quickest way for her to get some uncomfortable flashbacks of emotions.
some might say she should use her sex appeal as a new source for dominance, but old habits can be hard to break and she hasn't spent years idealizing such a concept like she did for physical strength. also, before you bring up intelligence as the other option, as much as she may try to use some smarts to get an edge, she's not really the learn'n type.
These days she still finds ways to put others in their place so she can feel powerful, most usually revolving around dominating others in video games or making bets.
