Ok, the vocals sound slow, and adding a fast techno beat to it kinda throws off the rythem, it's like the song can't tell which way it wants to go, soft and tender, or fast and ravey. It messes up the energy! Yeah, thats what I'm thinking of. Ok, I'm sure you've heard a lot of renditions to this song, including the soft gentle version, and the more hardcore rock ballad version. They both had much different beats to them, but it worked with the energy, (or lack thereof) that it tried to display. This sounds kinda like you're trying to put in the soft vocals to something that requires more energy, it just doesn't mix well.
If I had a complaint about anything else, it would be the siren atthe begning, I'm not a fan of those. I understand it may be popular with this kind of music, and I'm sure it may fit well in some ways, but I'm just not a fan of them in general. Thats less of a musical observation, and more of a personal prefference thing.
If those who requested this with vocals (and I may have been one of them, not sure now), if they like it, great! I can tell you put a good deal of effort into this. I appreciate the effort, I really do, I'm still a huge fan of your work, however this installment just doesn't appelle to me, and I'm sorry if you feel hurt by that. I don't mean to discourage you, but from what I've already heard, I feel you can do better. Then again, perhaps this is simply a style which may have it's place, and it's simply not something I enjoy but others may... I don't know.
Just keep at it, and thank you for putting in the effort. :)
